The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect on the things we are all most grateful for - friends, family, and the hard work we do to serve the communities, towns, and cities we are all a part of. As part of our gratitude, the PosiGen team has selected the following outstanding community partners to receive a $2,000 donation to help continue their great work.
Ludlow Cares Coalition
The Ludlow CARES Coalition is a community run organization that services the Ludlow, Massachusets community to address issues relating to community, youth, residents and businesses. CARES is a diverse community-wide organization united in providing opportunities to create a healthy environment that allows youth to be successful.
Latinos United for Progress
Latinos United for Progress serves the Latino communities of Connecticut and North Carolina. The group advocates for the progress and well-being of the Latino community through programs and projects that promote education, leadership, development, and cooperation.
Groundwork New Orleans
Groundwork New Orleans serves the New Orleans community and works to work to bring about the sustained regeneration, improvement and management of the physical environment by developing community-based partnerships that empower people, businesses and organizations to promote environmental, economic and social well-being.
Hunting Park Community Solar Initiative
The Hunting Park Community Solar Initiative exists to strengthen the Hunting Park, Philadelphia community by preserving and enhancing homes and buildings with weatherization, energy efficiency and solar installation. The organization is building partnerships to increase energy independence, provide free solar job training, and create local jobs – all while fighting climate change.
Footprint Project
The Footprint Project is an organization that helps emergency responders deploy clean technologies that power immediate lifesaving efforts while supporting long-term, resilient recovery. They are on a mission is to turn every disaster into an opportunity for sustainable development.
Sustainable Jersey
Sustainable Jersey is a network and movement of municipalities, schools and school districts working collectively to bring about a sustainable New Jersey. Acting with state agencies, non-profit organizations, foundations, academia and industry, Sustainable Jersey researches best practices for what communities could and should do to contribute to a sustainable future.
