As Vice President of Capital Markets at PosiGen, Prad leads the origination, negotiation, and closing of tax equity and loan financings for distributed solar, storage, and energy efficiency projects across the United States. With over a decade of experience in renewable energy project development and finance, Prad specializes in distributed generation and emerging markets.
He is responsible for the origination and negotiation of corporate equity, corporate debt, project-level tax equity, and debt financings for residential solar, solar + energy efficiency, and solar + storage portfolios spanning 13 states.
Prad is deeply committed to accelerating investment in the renewable energy sector and driving the commercialization of clean energy in new markets globally.
He holds a Master's degree in International Energy Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a dual Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Economics from Duke University. In addition, he is a CFA Level II Candidate with expertise in infrastructure finance, analytical modeling, contract negotiation, and electricity economics.
