Governor Cuomo’s multiple Solarize campaigns are a component of both his NY-Sun program and his Reforming the Energy Visions strategy. NY-Sun is Cuomo’s $1 billion initiative that aims to help the state of New York form a sustainable, and self-sufficient solar industry. The Reforming the Energy Vision is Cuomo’s strategy designed to build a clean, resilient and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers.
Governor Cuomo’s initiative has seen 26 Solarize campaigns help implement over 900 different solar energy projects, and there will be 31 more Solarize campaigns announced this spring.
